WELCOME TO MOUNTAIN PONY CLUB
Mountain Pony Club is situated on 34 acres of picturesque, gum studded land off Williams Road, Mt Barker. Facilities include two all-weather arenas, cross country course, round yard, show jumping equipment, day yards for horses and club rooms.
The club aims to:-
Annually the club hosts various events including a One Day Event, Cross Country Training Day and a Show Jumping Day as well as numerous internal pony club activities.
Rallies are held on the first Sunday of the month.
The club aims to:-
- Encourage young people to ride and learn to enjoy all kinds of sport associated with horses and riding
- Provide instruction in horse riding and horsemanship and to instill in the members proper care of their animals
- Promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, safety, citizenship and loyalty thereby cultivating strength of character and self-discipline.
